A COMPLETE SUCCESS!!!!

The Advisory Group is comprised of leading national and regional military women’s organizations. They are formed as a coalition of like-minded groups to battle the continued marginalization women face within the military and after their service. The group called for service women and women veteran grassroots groups across the nation, both formal and informal, to join them at the inaugural meeting.

A big Thanks goes to the Service Women's Action Network (SWAN). Over 200 women strategized to create ideas of how to best serve our women Veterans. The coalition aims to unite and elevate our voices to influence policy and improve our well-being.

*Veterans Service Organizations Expo* May 26, 2018

Congressman Charlie Crist, Florida’s 13th District and She VET had a great day. The Congressman hosted a Veterans Service Organizations Expo. I sit on his Veterans Advisory Board and as a panelist today, we discussed VA benefits, homelessness, education and entrepreneurship.   It was a great moment when he asked me to discuss my research on women Veterans diagnosed with PTSD as a result of military sexual trauma. The men and women that approached me afterwards; wanting to know more about She VET were awesome!!!
